Siouxon Trail - West End - Take exit 30 from I-205 north or south in Vancouver. Turn east onto SR-500, turning into SR-503, for 26 miles through Battle Ground and Amboy. Turn right on NE Healy Road (becomes FR-54) at Chelatchie continuing 9 miles to a fork. Veer left on FR-57 / Calamity Peak Road for 1.2 miles, then left again on FR-5701. At about 0.7 miles, look for a plain trail marker on the left side just after a pull-out on the right after a hairpin right turn.

Siouxon Trail - East End - Go up Wind River Road a couple of miles past Carson fish hatchery to junction with Dry Creek Road No. 64. Go 6.1 miles to junction with No. 58, Go 4.5 miles to unmarked trailhead.

Sandy River Delta

Niagara Falls - To reach the Niagara Falls Trailhead, take U.S. 101 south of Tillamook. At the community of Beaver, turn left onto Blaine Road. After 6.6 miles, stay right onto Upper Nestucca River Road. In 5 miles, turn right onto Niagara Road, following a sign for the Niagara Falls Trail. Follow the forest road south for about 3.8 miles, then turn right at a signed junction toward Niagara Falls. In .5 miles, look for the trailhead on the left. - Link to website

Olympia State Forest - Capitol State Forest is a beautiful recreation destination just a short drive from Olympia. Venture into the 110,000-acre forest for an adventure horseback riding at Mima Falls, spotting salmon in McLane Creek, mountain biking at Rock Candy, off-road-vehicle riding at Porter Creek – or all of the above! Capitol State Forest provides a variety of recreational opportunities, 150 miles of trail, and places to set up camp and rest your head at night. Horseback riding-oriented campgrounds, like the Margaret McKenny, offer corrals and hitching posts, while off-road vehicle-oriented campgrounds, like the Middle Waddell, provide access to the forest's motorized trail system. Cascades Raptor Center is a nature center and wildlife hospital. Visitors enjoy a large collection of resident raptors - nearly 40 birds of prey, native to the Pacific Northwest – in large outdoor aviaries. Old Growth Cedar Preserve is a 1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Rockaway Beach, Oregon that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips. - Link to website
