| Skywarn - Report Extreme Weather | The National Weather Service trains people to report local weather conditions. Their radar doesn't see any weather below 2,500 feet in the Portland-Vancouver area. They recruit actual humans to report what is going on at street level especially if there is severe weather in the area. |
